By May, my favorite flower begin to blossom, the Lily of the Valley. I love to pick the little stems when their bell-shaped flowers are just buds, gathering them into little bouquets to put into tiny vases. I proceed to fill my house with these sweet smelling posies for the short window of time that they flower. How I wish that they would flower for the rest of the warm weather season.
